The Spirit Flute Earth Tone in the key of "F♯" minor is handcrafted from a single piece of Spanish cedar, a softwood that gives the flute a warm, firm musical voice. This earth tone flute series is tuned to the frequency of 432 Hz compared to the traditional tuning frequency of 440 Hz. Tuned in the key of "F♯" minor, it can also be played in the relative diatonic major scale in the key of "A" 432 Hz. It is engraved with a geometric pattern that is believed to be the visual representation of the 432 Hz frequency on a CymaScope, and it is decorated with a rainbow moonstone cabochon inlay.
The tonal difference of 8 Hz is seemingly minor, but can be perceptibly different when we experience the feel of the music we are listening to. Much like the subtle inflection of the human voice, which can create a subtle change in emotion, an instrument that uses a slight change in frequency can change the emotional quality of the music being played.
