Our 16 tone diatonic balafones are suitable for balafonists who appreciate optimal sound performance and perfect tuning.

Our various balafone xylophones are traditionally made in Burkina-Faso, Mali or Guinea. They are made by craftsmen using ancestral techniques.

The bars are made of wood from long-dead trees that have been reduced to duramen ("heartwood"). This wood is then lightly burned to remove any substances such as bacteria or liquids and to guarantee a beautiful sound.
