Double Nova Bass E

The double nova bass flute in the key of "E minor" is tuned to the frequency of 440 Hz and handcrafted from a single piece of sustainable, native Spanish cedar wood, which offers a warm, full musical sound.

Like the other flutes in the Double Nova series, the decorative engraving is inspired by the theme of feathers. The Double Nova Bass "D" flute has a deep, low tone that is meditative and even. This bass flute is tuned in the key of low "E" minor and can also be played in the relative diatonic major scale in the key of "G".

The dimensions of this flute are approximately: 21 inches long (53 cm), 3 inches wide (8 cm) and 2 inches high (4 cm). With this double flute, you play the melody on one side of the flute while the other side of the flute plays the drone in the root/key of the flute, creating the sound of two people playing at the same time.
