With the tunable Coast Drum, Schlagwerk now offers a regularly playable frame drum with a filling that simulates the rolling waves on the beach or the roaring surf on the coastal cliffs. The drum with a diameter of 50 cm, goatskin and mesh material is perfect for use in therapeutic applications, for sound baths, meditations or in classical frame drum playing. The finely tuned mixture of glass and steel beads is filled between the natural skin and a mesh material and can also be reduced in quantity if required using a screw on the side. This allows the intensity to be adjusted.
