Kalimbas are reed instruments that originated in southern Africa and can be found there in countless shapes and designs. Our Kalimba B5 is carefully handcrafted in Germany from solid American cherry. The surfaces are treated with vegetable oils and waxes and polished. The 5 sound reeds are precisely tuned in C-pentatonic, which supports intuitive and free playing.
