Tirupati Kirtan Premium

The Tirupati Kirtan Premium is an improved version of the popular Kirtan Classic model. The simple construction makes it inexpensive and robust, thanks to compact dimensions it can be transported quite well when folded and double reeds and octave coupling provide full, brilliant sound. A good choice for beginners as well as for ambitious kirtan singers.

With the Kirtan Premium, the outer bellows is firmly attached and does not have to be unfolded and secured with hooks as with the Kirtan Classic. This makes the entire folding mechanism much less sensitive and easier to use. When folded, the entire instrument is protected in an integrated sturdy wooden case.

Pine wood is mainly used for harmoniums in the Delhi area and is much softer than teak, which is more common in Mumbai and Kolkata. Therefore, many pine harmoniums get small dents or other blemishes during production and transport to Europe - these are due to the material and are not to be considered a defect.
