I am often asked where I learned to make drums. The drum itself taught me. I used to work a lot with goat skin and change the skins of djembes. I have wanted to make ritual drums for a long time, and during the Corona period I finally had the time to dare to do it.

I love creating drums - each one is unique. When building them, I let my intuition guide me: the type of skin, dyed or natural, the right frame, the wood, the timing.
