Double Nova Flute A

The double flutes are as easy to play as the single flutes, they just need a little more air. With a double flute you play the melody on one side and on the other side the drone is in the fundamental of the flute - it sounds as if two people are playing. The double flutes have two mouthpieces so that they can be played as a double flute or as a single flute.

The Nova double fl utes are handmade from Spanish cedar, which gives them a warm, full musical voice.

Size of the pitch in A: 35.6 cm long, 5.7 cm wide and 3.2 cm deep

tuned in the key of 'A' and can also be played in the relative major diatonic key of 'C'.

This flute is a good accompaniment to any other traditional flute (440 Hz) tuned in A minor.
