With the shrutibox, the bellows must always be pumped with one hand. This is impractical if you actually need both hands for something else - e.g. to play another instrument. As a solution to this problem, we offer a foot pedal that has been specially developed for shrutiboxes.
The movement of the foot pedal is transmitted via a cable to a pulling device on the shrutibox. This allows the bellows to be pumped with the foot, leaving the hands free. This allows you to accompany yourself on the shrutibox while playing the guitar, flute, violin, percussion or other instruments. The traction device can be easily attached to most common shrutiboxes with an adhesive coating and can be removed again without a trace if required. For prolonged or intensive use, it is advisable to fix the pulling devices with the enclosed screws. The only requirement: the shrutibox must be able to stand stably without being held in place.
The Bowring foot pedal works well for all our shrutiboxes (except the 3 octaves). However, it can also be used for similarly constructed shrutiboxes from other manufacturers.
Size: folded 22 x 9 x 3 cm, weight: 0.6 kg
There are 2 different models: medium 90 cm or big 120 cm, depending on whether you want the shrutibox to stand on a table or on the floor.
