This small Spirit flute in the key of high 'd' minor (440 Hz) is handcrafted in southern Arizona from native sustainable Spanish cedar. A soft wood that gives the flute a warm, rich musical voice with clarity in the high notes. The Spirit flutes feature a unique fixed sound plate design that is durable as it cannot be accidentally moved. This flute is approximately 29 cm long, making it a small flute, which makes it ideal for travel, people with small hands and limited hand mobility. All flutes have six holes, but the n the third hole from the top of the flute (known as the six-hole) is covered with a leather strap, which can make it easier to learn to play.
