Allton Concert Octave Monochord
Tuning: on one side on tone C, other side one octave lower, deep sustaining bass sounds. These tones can each be tuned up to one tone higher or lower. For example on C sharp and G sharp.
The ALLTON Monochord is a robust instrument with many years of experience and variable playing possibilities. The monochord can be played horizontally on the floor or on a table, as well as upright, by screwing the feet onto the front or long sides.
A carpet of sound is produced by simply stroking the strings with the fingertips. Can be used, for example, to accompany a fantasy journey or to accompany a musical relaxation. The back of the monochord vibrates when played.
