Double Nova Flute F#

The double flutes are as easy to play as the single flutes, they just need a little more air. With a double flute you play the melody on one side and on the other side the drone is in the fundamental of the flute - it sounds as if two people are playing. The double flutes have two mouthpieces so that they can be played as a double flute or as a single flute.

The Nova double flutes are handmade from Spanish cedar, which gives them a warm, full musical voice.

Size of the flute F#: 43.2 cm long, 5.7 cm wide and 3.2 cm deep.

The flute is tuned in the key of 'F#' minor and can also be played in the diatonic scale in the key of 'A'. This flute is a good accompaniment to any of our other traditional flutes (440 Hz) tuned in the key of F minor.
